Insecurities are like a parrot on the shoulder.
A constant pecking on one’s brain,
A frequent reminder of all that you are not,
A heavy baggage that we lug around from situation to situation.
How can a fish compare with a bird?
They are both skilled in their own right.
Just as grass differs from a tree,
Though reared in the same sunlight but each have a different purpose.
Pound by pound I’m dropping my load,
Making way for my empowerment.
I’m destined for greatness,
If only you could see!
